"It's A Jeep Song (And I Don't Understand)"
   by The Renegade Stripes (MP3)

Bass, Vox:Zak Frieling(Fuckin' Gnarly)
"Friday night while in the White Castle drive thru I talked to Augie on the phone and he mentioned that I should come by Saturday for a music video shoot, and thats all that I knew was going on. Then when I showed up the next day he greated me with "Hey, ready to record?". I didnt know what he was talking about and as soon as the "rules" of the party were explained, my name was drawn and I was off to the basement. It was alot of fun. I don't think there was a backstory to our song, it seemed like from the getgo Korin was set on it being about Jeeps, and that it should have a "Pine Knob" vibe to it. But overall it was great working with people in bands completely differant than mine and seeing how other people write and work together. It was fun. "

Drums, Vox:Matt Rickle(Javelins)
"I really enjoyed working with my band. We got started with a few ideas, but they all seemed to drag a bit. While pissing in the can, the rhythm of the chorus came to me and everything seemed to go smoothly from there. Here's hoping we can licence this sucker to Jeep for BIG BUCKS."

Keys, Vox:Korin Cox(The Hard Lessons)
"Instant Album Party 5 was a shoes off party. This set the tone for a fun-filled evening of old and new friends in colorful socks and faux leather slippers. "

Guitar, Vox:Will Yates(The Pop Project)
"This time around was weird, but sweet. A new setting, and some new people. I think the songs are in competition with IAP4 for the best Instant Album Party yet. The main musical idea for our song came to Rickle while he was in the bathroom, and the main lyrical idea came out of a joke that Korin made while we were messing around on our instruments. Later in the night, I had fun eating Little Caesars and watching Team America, and I also had fun talking to Zach Curd and Aaron Quillen about music in the smoking room."
